Grossman Yaffa Cohen to Participate in Nursing Consortium of Florida’s 2026 Fall Conference
Grossman Yaffa Cohen is proud to be part of the Nursing Consortium of Florida’s 2026 Fall Conference on October 23, with Andrew Yaffa, Elizabeth Stockhammer, and Maria A. Suarez all taking part in this year’s program.
Held at the Signia by Hilton Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida, this year’s conference focuses on “Navigating the Crossroads of Nursing Accountability, Compliance, Legal Risk, and Regulatory Oversight.” The day will bring together nurses, healthcare leaders, administrators, and other professionals to discuss some of the challenges facing healthcare today.
Andy will deliver the conference keynote, “Together We Can Make a Difference: Navigating Patient Safety, Accountability, and Medical Malpractice.” He will share a legal perspective on patient safety, accountability, and medical malpractice and how these issues intersect with the work nurses and healthcare organizations do every day.
Elizabeth will join the “Setting the Standard” panel, exploring how decisions involving patient care, documentation, leadership, technology, and compliance can impact nurses, their patients, and their professional licenses. She will also lead an interactive workshop on reducing legal risk, with Andy joining her as a speaker to provide additional legal perspective and practical guidance on documentation and clinical decision-making.
Maria will participate in “Making Right What Can Go Wrong,” a session focused on how healthcare professionals and organizations can respond when patient care does not go as planned, learn from adverse events, and reduce future risk.
